Skepta Raises Over 30k For UK Charity

Last night Skeppy put on a charity gig in aid of the UK charity Shelter. Shelter.

Shelter is a registered charity that campaigns to end homelessness and bad housing in England and Scotland. It gives advice, information and advocacy to people in need, and tackles the root causes of bad housing by lobbying government and local authorities for new laws and policies to improve the lives of homeless and badly housed people.

If safe to say the show was a huge success with Skepta announcing on Instagram he had raised over £30,000 for the cause. If you would like to give money to Shelter you can via there website, or text shelter to 70444 to donate £3.

Big up Skepta for giving back. Huge look.

Drake More Life, Giggs, Twitter & Skepta

Drakes finally dropped his new album More Life which has a heavy UK influence on it. It’s no secret Drizzy is a huge fan of our sound after publicly endorsing it for a while now. The album features a track entitled Skepta Interlude, which is basically a Skepta track in the middle of a drake album. But the real talking point has come from Drakes decision to put South London rapper Giggs on two tracks. It seems some Americans aren’t feeling Hollowman as they took to Twitter to call him trash, but the UK quickly came to defend him. Giggs is arguably one of the best and most respected rappers in the UK. Below are some of our favourite tweets from Brits defending their representative.
